The ammonium Hydroxide are largely used as an efficient catalyst for Knoevenagel condensation of aldehydes with acidic methylene compounds such as methyl and ethyl cyanoacetate, malononitrile, and cyanoacetamide to afford substituted olefin. Apart from this, it is also used in paints and electronic industry, soap making, etc & can be modified in compliance with clients' requirements.
